Schroeder History
Dr James Schroeder founded his first 2 veterinary hospitals here in Fort Worth in the early seventies. He expanded his practice to include companion animals and food animals in Granbury for 10 years before opening yet another Fort Worth practice on Lovell Avenue. He demonstrated unconditional love and empathy for his patients and their owners. His newest hospital on Camp Bowie was established to continue the special care for his patients after he was gone. He personally selected Dr Williams and Dr Logan because they espouse the same commitment to their patients he did for decades.

Dr Lynn Logan
I am fortunate to have joined Dr. Schroeder's practice in 2019. An Aggie graduate(class of 1982/1986), I completed an internship at Cornell University then spent 28 years at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington DC. Together with my husband Don and two boys, we yearned for our Texas homeland and returned. We are thrilled to back in the Fort. Improving the lives of furry family members is my privilege and delight.
Jill Kellie
I have been with the Schroeder family for over 30 years. I love what I do and I'm grateful ever day for the gifts god gives me. I have 3 beautiful daughters who are my strength.
My pets consist of ,3 dogs, 1 cats and 11 chickens. Everyone has a name! :-)
Benji Schroeder
The clinic has been a part of my life in various forms for fifty plus years. My earliest duties were to clean up and stay out of the way. At present, my duties have not changed much. I do however, have a little different aim; to ensure Dad’s practice continues for generations to come. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and clientele that have made Schroeder Veterinary Hospital such a blessing.
Rachel Brunson
Rachel moved to Fort Worth from Pennsylvania in 2021 and has been part of the Schroeder family since 2022, she is currently in school to further her education in veterinary medicine. Rachel really enjoys her work, especially when she works with cats! Rachel lives with her husband, 5 cats and 2 dogs named Gunner and Ruby. In her free time, you can find Rachel on the lake with her husband and dogs, or at home hanging out with her cats.
